FREE
This is provided to all clients by way of customer service. I learnt an enormous amount during many years’ serving an organisation whose success at the time was built primarily on the superb care and attention it paid to customers...keeping them informed, honouring commitments, surpassing expectations, exceeding SLAs, garnering (and acting upon) their feedback and most of all listening!
In an outfit of one it can be more difficult to provide that level of total customer service...but I do try. I can’t always pick up the phone within four rings or react instantly to emails, but I will do my best. My job is to provide a service and products that make my customers happy...and hopefully return for more. Design can be highly subjective, I therefore have to listen...and am always prepared to go back to the drawing board.
* When it comes to 'MINOR ARTWORK AMENDS' some common sense will have to prevail here. All I ask is please respect this free service. If at any time I feel the word 'MINOR' has been misinterpreted, I will always consult with the client to explore a mutually agreeable resolution.
NOT SO FREE
This is really where there is a time and/or cost implication to Yellow Spade that could impact on delivering the company’s existing commitments. Whilst it would be wonderful to offer free regular WEBSITE/CMS MANAGEMENT for customer’s kind enough to have chosen Yellow Spade to create their online presence...sadly the time involved make it impractical and not financially viable. I therefore offer Support Packages from as little as £20/month for YS designed sites and £30/month for clients with existing sites. These might include updates, amends, new graphics, email management, hosting and additional security or back up features. This has worked well for number of long standing clients including Primary Schools and SMEs with packages tailored to individual client requirements. Effectively customers are purchasing a guaranteed block of time which will be dedicated to their site.
On PROJECT MANAGEMENT...I’m happy to discuss taking responsibility for individual projects or customer’s entire design requirements over a set period. Again, this is through securing my time for set periods each month...effectively hiring your own designer, short term without the overheads...and giving clients the benefits of the tools at Yellow Spade’s disposal without the outlay of software or licences etc.
ONSITE TRAINING is another service I can provide...giving customers the opportunity to pick up the requisite level of skills they require to undertake such activities as using industry standard software, updating their website or basics in preparation of artwork for submission (to save time and therefore money at the design/production stage).
